Stone wool is a completely non-flammable thermal insulation material with versatile use, in construction for insulation of walls, roofs and floors, in industry for insulation of pipelines, furnaces and boilers. As an acoustic insulation against airborne and impact sounds, and also as a filling of fireproof partitions.
Aerogels are one of the best known insulation materials with a λ coefficient up to 0.014. Airgel mats are characterized by exceptional thermal insulation, high flexibility and temperature resistance, which makes them a suitable material for the most demanding applications in the chemical industry, energy, cooling and other heavy industry sectors.
Wood wool is a natural thermal insulation material made of recyclable raw material with a very high heat capacity and low loss of insulation when wet. Widely used in wooden construction and renovation of historic buildings. Especially recommended as an insulation for pitched roofs thanks to the possibility of obtaining a phase shift of over 10 hours inside buildings.
EPS is expanded polystyrene, it is the most economically advantageous and still the most popular thermal insulation material used in Poland. Quick and easy to install, with a good λ coefficient, insensitive to moisture, it is one of the best solutions for thermal insulation of building facades and is a cheaper alternative to extruded polystyrene in the case of foundation insulation.
Facade insulation is an external thermal insulation protection against heat leakage in winter and summer heat. It is divided into insulation covered with plaster in the light / wet method and ventilated insulation for sheet façade panels, glass and siding. This category also includes materials used for insulation of three-layer walls and materials for insulation from the inside, used in situations where it is necessary to maintain the existing facade, e.g. historic buildings.
Roof insulation is the most important type of insulation in construction - even 1/3 of the heat lost by the building is dissipated through the roof. In summer, solar radiation leads to a huge increase in indoor temperature. The use of appropriate thermal insulation of the roof is of key importance for the comfort of use of residential buildings, public buildings, factories and even warehouses, and allows for a significant reduction in heating and air conditioning costs of these buildings.
Insulation of foundations, apart from the obvious reduction of heating costs, appropriate thermal insulation of foundations is essential for the technical protection of a building against damage caused by frost, protects against the development of fungi and mold on cooled walls and provides mechanical protection with the proper waterproofing layer. This category also includes expanded clay aggregates, which, when mixed with the soil surrounding the foundations, improve its thermal parameters.
Insulation of cold rooms, meeting stringent thermal requirements, must not only provide a constant low temperature inside cold rooms, but also be resistant to the phenomenon of water vapor condensation, have a very high resistance to the development of fungi and mold, and what is very desirable in industrial refrigeration installations: very good fire properties and very low emission of harmful gases during a possible fire.
Thermal insulation shells are a difficult material to replace in pipeline insulation. The technological comfort of use by thermal insulation contractors, as well as the high efficiency in slowing down the heat flux escaping from the pipes, make insulating covers the main assortment in this context. We offer insulation jackets for a wide range of temperatures: from -200 ° C to + 600 ° C. Polyethylene lagging - PE lagging, polyurethane lagging - PUR lagging, rubber lagging, mineral wool lagging and some other specialist materials.
Polyurethane plates are foamed polyurethane, which has been used for many decades, and is one of the best thermal insulation materials for applications at temperatures up to + 130 ° C. Very good mechanical properties, low λ coefficient and low water absorption capacity make polyurethane insulations widely used in civil construction and refrigeration to insulate walls, floors, roofs, refrigerators and cooling partitions. Moreover, we offer mineral wool boards, rubber boards, foamed polyethylene boards, foam glass boards, polystyrene boards and many other thermal insulation boards.
The main field of application of thermal insulation mats are surfaces with high temperatures and those whose shape excludes the use of lagging and boards. The ability to reproduce the shape of thermal insulation mats of all round, shaped surfaces makes them readily used in thermal energy for the insulation of tanks, boilers, exchangers, etc. In the case of using, for example, under-floor mats, we also deal with the acoustic insulation effect. In the store, we offer mineral wool mats, polyethylene mats, as well as rubber mats, especially useful for low-temperature insulations. More and more often, our customers show interest in airgel (airgel) mats with the best λ coefficient (insulation) of all thermal insulation materials offered by our store.
Thermal insulation foils are a type of thermal insulation mats with a significantly reduced thickness. Their thickness is reduced to a few millimeters, which means that they can be used in many applications - wall insulation, under-floor insulation, roof insulation and as radiator screens. Thermal insulation foils are most often made of foamed plastics (PE, PUR). They also come in laminated forms with aluminum foil.
Thermal insulation of pipelines reduces heat loss in the medium transferred through the pipes and protects external pipelines against freezing. It constitutes a mechanical cover for pipes and hinders and sometimes completely eliminates the possibility of the effect of water vapor condensation on the surface of the installation. Dampens airborne and impact sounds generated within the pipeline.
Tanks containing a heated medium (water or other liquids), heat exchangers, various types of heat storage, e.g. Rutse tanks, chemical reactors, rectification columns and many other tanks of this type require thermal insulation. The first performed function of thermal insulation of the tanks is, of course, a dam for the escaping heat flux, the second is temperature stabilization in a small range necessary for the chemical process.
Thermal insulation of ventilation ducts with thermal insulation mats and boards, widely described on the e-termoizolacje.pl website, protects against moisture condensation on the walls of the ducts, protects the stream of air or other gas from cooling or heating, and performs acoustic insulation functions.
Thermal insulation of valves, gate valves and other shaped surfaces is often difficult for contractors due to shape entanglement. In the case of heating installations, it is assumed that the valve in the active installation is a heat sink similar to an uninsulated 7-meter pipeline. There is therefore "what to fight for". E-termoizolacje.pl offers many solutions for the insulation of fittings, ranging from tailor-made thermo suits to insulating hoods with a sheet metal jacket.
